How to Write a Winning Resume

We all have the capacity to win and bring home what so many want these days which is a job to call their own.  We all have the capacity to win and bring home what so many want these days which is a job.  It's important to write your resume to match your personality and the hard work you have done in all of the past jobs you've had. 

·         Invest time researching further into reviewing professionally written sample resumes and the best resume style to use.  Visit your local library or bookstore and look at the recent resume books that will show you different types of content, style, and format. 

·         Focus on sharing your strengths as this is your competitive advantage against other job seekers who are competing for same job.  Your resume will need to display unique information about your skills and qualifications.  Include in the beginning of your resume a summary of your qualifications as this provides an opportunity for the potential employer to see you in a positive light. 

·         Don't be afraid to share your past achievements and successes.  Celebrate these experiences within your resume however remember to look at the overall achievements not tasks. 

·         Keep in mind several formatting guidelines of such as limiting the resume length to one or two pages.  Present your work experience in reverse chronological order.  The best way to identify your achievements by asking yourself several questions is to ask yourself what type of problems you encountered, what are the actions you've taken to solve those problems and what were the results of those solved problems.  Identifying these achievements shows the potential employers that you're a hard working person and can create a consistent strong impact.
